Fund Analyst – Portugal Market
Role Summary
We are looking for a Fund Analyst to join our team in Luxembourg. Through fund analysis and regulatory alignment, this role delivers insights that bridge the Portuguese and European markets, reinforcing InvestSet mission to transform data into smarter investment decisions
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and monitor investment funds, (e.g UCITS and AIF structures)
- Understand and apply European regulatory frameworks (e.g., MiFID II, UCITS Directive, AIFMD) in fund analysis.
- Assess and connect market developments in Portugal with European investment trends.
- Understand valuation and investment decision-making processes, including factors such as ESG metrics.
- Provide accurate and structured analysis to support internal decision-making and external communications.
- Represent InvestSet externally with partners, clients, and regulators, including regular travel between Luxembourg, Portugal, and other locations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in asset management, fund analysis, or related fields.
- Solid understanding of European investment funds and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure precision in reporting and documentation.
- Fluency in English.
- Clear and confident communication skills to represent InvestSet externally.
- Ability to work effectively in multicultural and highly regulated environments.
- Basic technical knowledge in IT.
Nice to Have
- French language skills, valuable for Luxembourg interactions, though not mandatory.
- Certifications such as CFA or equivalent.
- Previous international experience, ideally within the EU.
- Advanced skills in Portuguese.
