Ph.D. in Economics from the Brazilian School of Economics and Finance at the Getulio Vargas Foundation – EPGE/FGV, Gyorgy has experience as a founding partner and investor in fintech companies in Europe and Latin America.
He previously worked at various financial institutions, including Bankers Trust in New York, as a trader and Manager of risk for derivative products. Gyorgy has also provided consulting services to renowned Brazilian financial institutions.
In the academic realm, Gyorgy is a professor at FGV and the academic coordinator of FCE School of Finance, where he teaches courses on fixed income and analysis of various financial market assets.
Founding Partner and CEO at Ativore, specialized in the USA Real Estate Private Equity/Debt and in providing tax advisory service for international investments.
Roberto has been in the international financial market since 1986, was CEO of Itau Securities and Head of Equities at Itau BBA and Chairman and CEO of Skysites Holdings.
He has been an active angel investor with 30 companies invested in his portfolio and is a member of board of advisors in several companies
